St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral will hold their 19th annual Washington Ukrainian Festival on September 16, 17, 18, 2022. St. Andrew welcomes attendees of all ages, in a celebration of Ukrainian culture. Attendees will enjoy world-renowned Ukrainian performer Ruslana, a World Music Award and Eurovision Song Contest winning recording artist; Oksana Bilozir, People's Artist of Ukraine and former Minister of Culture and Tourism of Ukraine; the popular dance ensemble Yunist; the melodies of violinist Vasyl Popadiuk; flute-violin duo Solomia Gorokhivska and Andrei Pidkivka; and many other performers will entertain guests during the day, as well as the 6pm Saturday evening concert with Ruslana. While the musicians from Ukraine, Canada, and the USA are entertaining, the audience may feast on a variety of traditional Ukrainian foods and baked goods, Kozak beer garden, or shop for unique items from Ukrainian vendors. Activities for children include Kozak reenactments, moon bounces, games and much more. $20.00 adult admission is good for all 3 days. Under 21 - free admission. Parking is free.
